* until 1100 am CST
* at 754 am CST... National Weather Service meteorologists detected
thunderstorms with heavy rain across much of the Dallas/Fort Worth
metroplex. Widespread reports of 3 to 4 inches of rain overnight
has resulted in flash flooding... primarily in urban areas.
Another 1 to 2 inches will be possible through 11 am... only
worsening ongoing flooding issues.
* Locations that will continue to be affected by heavy rain

* Flood Warning for Walnut Creek near Mansfield.
* Until late tonight... or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 0700 am Wednesday the stage was 20.45 feet.
* Flood stage is 22.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast
* forecast... the river should rise above flood stage by Wednesday
morning and continue to rise to a crest near 24 feet by late
Wednesday morning. The river should fall below flood stage by
Wednesday afternoon.
* This crest compares to a previous crest of 24.6 feet on Mar 20 2006.
